Bakit nga ba wala sa English translation at iba pang language ng Biblia ang Salitang CATHOLIC?    kung sa greek translation nito ay nakasaad dito ang salitang εκκλησιαι καθ ολης (ekklisiai kath olis) na nangangahulugang CATHOLIC CHURCH.  Ang terminong "KATOLIKO" ay nagmula sa salitang Griyego Kaloλιkó (katholikos), na nangangahulugang "UNIVERSAL" o Ang "LAGANAP", at ginamit din upang ilarawan ang Simbahan noong unang ika-2 siglo.  Ang terminong katholikos ay katumbas ng kαłóλou (katholou), isang pag sasama ng parehong kahulugan, кal' oλou (kath' holou) na nangangahulugang "AYON SA KABUOAN". Ayon sa Biblia matapos mamatay ng isang tao, agad siyang lilitisin o huhusgahan ng Diyos upang malaman niya kung saan siya mapupunta. Kung sa purgatoryo ba o sa langit.
